American Heart Association honors Dr. Rachana Kulkarni with Physician Of The Year Award
The American Heart Association on March 2, 2023, recognized Indian American physician from Hillsborough, N.J., for her work in the field of cardiovascular disease and stroke.
“The Physician of the Year Award is given to a physician who has made a positive impact on their patient’s lives and is dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke,” a letter from AHA to Dr. Kulkarni which was shared with News India Times and Desi Talk, said.
“We are pleased to inform you that you have been selected to receive the American Heart Association’s 2023 Physician of the Year Award,’ said the letter.
“The American Heart Association is so appreciative of your support over the years and your personal dedication to furthering our mission of preventing and eradicating heart disease and stroke,’ the AHA added.
The award will be presented to Dr. Kulkarni, at the annual gala, the New Jersey Heart Ball, on Wednesday, June 7 at Brooklake County Club in Florham Park, NJ.
“We are honored to recognize your work and thank you for your continued support of the American Heart Association,” the organization said.
