Dr. Sudhir Parikh felicitated by Rajkot’s famous Marwadi University

U.S. -based community leader and doctor, Padma Shri recipient Dr. Sudhir Parikh and Dr. Sudha Parikh, visited Marwadi University Feb. 14, 2023, in Rajkot, Gujarat. He was joined by founder of Narmada Bal Ghar – Morbi, Bharat Mehta.
The guests were welcomed by University Registrar Naresh Jadeja and Dean Dr. R. B. Jadeja. Dr. Parikh also met with University Provost Dr. Sandeep Sancheti. They exchanged ideas with the organizers of the event and the teaching staff at the University as well as the students.


Dr. Parikh showed deep interest in the various activities of the University and showed eagerness to help with them and be involved with them.
Dr. Parikh also met with the faculty at large. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Parikh said he was very happy that a well known educational institution like the Marwadi University was offering international level opportunities to the students.
Dr. Parikh also visited the library, the science lab, and the Startup and Entrepreneurship center. He also observed the latest research done by the students. He also learnt about the experiments on marble waste and product development at the Materials Lab.
Praising this, Dr. Parikh said, “Such products have commercial value,” and that he is ready to contribute in any manner in its development. He also met the team of students at the Startup center.

Rajkot-based M University is a reputable educational institute of India. Its curriculum is designed keeping in mind a wide perspective where the personalities of youth can develop to their full potential.
It University offers diplomas and degree courses at undergraduate, graduate, levels.

Junior research positions, fellowships as well as in undergraduate and graduate and doctoral degrees are available for studies in engineering, technology, sciences, business management, law, philosophy, pharmacy, and computer science.

In a letter of appreciation Dr. Sancheti told Dr. Parikh the visit was very productive. “Your observations and inputs in our marble waste and slurry project were both informative and engaging, and it truly captured the attention of our faculty. We also acknowledge your appreciation of these projects having commercial value and may be taken further to industry level transformation,” said Dr. Sancheti in his letter.
“We were thrilled with your kind gesture to support the ongoing and upcoming projects in all possible ways on the development of the eco-efficient construction composites as well. Your willingness to share the experiences and connect in thoughtful discussion with the young entrepreneurs at the MUIIR cell was invaluable, and it created an environment of learning and growth that will benefit our community for years to come,” Dr. Sancheti added.
