2023 looks super-exciting for Katrina Kaif

What is keeping Katrina Kaif busy in 2023? The answer, simply, is “Plenty”! That too, a full two decades after she started out!
Mrs. Vicky Kaushal has tried her hands in almost every genre and after Sooryavanshi in late 2021 and the quirky Phone Bhoot in 2022, the actress is having a busy 2023 with back-to-back work commitments. Let’s scroll through what’s in store.
Merry Christmas
First off the grid will be Katrina’s first film with South star Vijay Sethupathi —Merry Christmas. Originally to release in Christmas 2022, the film’s release has been postponed, and the actress calls this a ‘twist’ as is omnipresent with every film directed by Sriram Raghavan (Ek Hasina Thi, Johnny Gaddaar, Badlapur, Andhadhun). Katrina has frequently expressed how excited she was to work with the director because she was always keen on working with him. “He is a master when it comes to narratives that showcase thrillers and it’s an honor to be directed by him… Super excited to be teaming up with Vijay Sethupathi for this one produced by Ramesh Taurani and Sanjay Routray,” she tweeted.
Tiger 3
If at all there is any film that can outdo Pathaan’s phenomenal business now, it is Yash Raj Films’ third movie in their Tiger franchise. Of course, Pathaan (Shah Rukh Khan) makes a cameo herein just as Tiger (Salman Khan) did in Pathaan. Katrina Kaif’s action in Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai as Zoya had us on the edge of our seats, and this will be no different. Emraan Hashmi plays the villain of the latest film in the spy universe. The film is directed by Maneesh Sharma and will release on November 10.
Jee Le Zaraa
Katrina Kaif will be sharing screen space with Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Alia Bhatt in this light-hearted Farhan Akhtar romp. Said to be a road-trip movie, a la Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara that also starred her, this will be a version of the world from a female’s perspective and celebrates the friendship of three amazing women.
So get set for three avatars of Katrina Kaif 20 years after her first film, Boom.
